In a day and age where poverty is often ignored while wealth is celebrated. The poor often are condemned for being poor as if it were a moral failing. The Bible, though, sees things differently. Indeed, we are commanded to reach out to those in need, to those marginalized by society, to those who have fallen through society’s cracks.
